BIBLE

Bible classes are a series of Bible lessons that span through the grades. The students study both the Old Testament, the New Testament and the Life of Christ.

SCIENCE

The science curriculum, 

Apologia, offers 1st -12th grade science curriculum that has been voted #1 by the homeschool community. The curriculum is written in a conversational tone to help students learn to speak comfortably about a topic, as well as gain the ability to explain scientific concepts in their own words.

MATH

CCCS strives to provide our students with a dynamic mathematics education that balances a solid foundation of basic skills and an understanding of concepts with developing problem-solving skills through hands-on and real-world experiences.

Community Classical Christian School recognizes the importance of engaging students with a variety of reading opportunities and literature. 

LANGUAGE ARTS

Grammar & Spelling are building blocks to excellence in written and  spoken communication. CCCS Students benefit from direct and consistent language arts instruction throughout their school career.

HISTORY

 The history curriculum  is Notgrass History. It uses narrative lessons, primary source documents, historic novels and biographies, and hands-on activities to help create engaging learning experiences.

WRITING & RHETORIC

Writing and Rhetoric are a series of classes that span through the grades. These classes provide students with forms and models of excellent writing and speaking. As students proceed on their path toward masterful writing and rhetoric, they are encouraged to study and imitate these models and forms. In these classes both the beginner and the advanced writers will grow in their craft of written and oral communication.

LATIN
CCCS off
Students will be studying Classical Latin, with some supplemental material in Ecclesiastical Latin. Grades one through six will be primarily learning late antiquine Latin hymns and creeds, while middle and highschool will be studying from Wheelock’s Latin. Wheelock's Latin is the world’s foremost curriculum in Classical Latin instruction, wherein students will learn to translate real ancient Roman historical documents from Classical Latin into English. They will all also learn the history and origins of the Latin language, and it's many modern derivative languages.
